ACT Skills Commission Consultation Meetings
The ACT Skills Commission hostiedtwo open meetings. The community meetings provided opportunities to discuss skills issues and recommendations outlined in the Skills Commission Interim Report.

Members of New ACT Skills Commission Announced (November 2006)
ACT Chief Minister Jon Stanhope today announced the membership and draft Terms of Reference for the new ACT Skills Commission.
“This is a very strong group of highly qualified individuals who also share a passion for the development of Canberra,” Mr Stanhope said. “I can think of no more important issue facing the development of our city and its people than skills, and the Government is placing considerable faith in this group to come up with advice and practical solutions to short and long term skills issues.”
