Dr Michelle Bruniges
Chief Executive, ACT Department of Education and Training
Dr Bruniges has a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Measurement, a Masters degree in Education from the University of NSW, a Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies and a Diploma in Teaching.
She began her teaching career in 1980 and has worked in primary and secondary schools.
Between 1993 and 2004, Dr Bruniges held a range of senior positions within the NSW Department of Education and Training, in the areas of Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting and Strategic Information and Planning.
In January 2005, Dr Bruniges took up the appointment of Chief Executive of the ACT Department of Education and Training. She currently serves as a Director on the Australian Children's Television Foundation Board and is a member of the Australian National Commission for UNESCO – Education Network.
